(Senior) Chief Accountant/General Ledger (m/f/d)

We are looking for a (Senior) main account holder (gn) at our locations Hamburg, Elmshorn or remote. The position can thus be performed hybridly from our offices in Hamburg or Elmshorn as well as fully remotely within Germany. The open position shall be filled in full time (40h) or part-time (min. 30h/5 days a week). In order to carry out the role & tasks accordingly, we ask for an understanding that we can only take into account profiles that have knowledge of German at min. C1 levels have.

Your mission to us You are responsible for accounting, including HGB accounting You are the first monthly, quarterly and annual accounts You will be able to optimize our accounting processes You agree to the Intercompany Agreements and ensure compliance with our accounting policies You work closely with the secondary books, perform ad hoc analyses and support projects Your experience & skills You have a successfully completed commercial training, a training as a tax specialist (gn) or a corresponding study. A further development to the account holder (gn) is advantageous You bring several years of professional experience in the main accounting in a group environment and know yourself with sales tax pre-registrations and the associated program (Elster) as well as the central reports You have HGB's financial security and first experience in accounting according to IFRS You have good knowledge of SAP (ideally S4 HANA, cloud-based) or similar programs as well as in MS Office and Jira You work reliably, autonomously and bring a high self-initiative You are responsible, strong in communication and enjoy learning new things You speak German and have good English skills in word and writing
