Anyone who wants to be part of digital change learns to develop, program and adapt to the most diverse requirements at the DHBW Heilbronnn. Expertise from computer science, economics and software engineering makes our graduates a skilled worker with a diverse career perspective.

Think abstractly and work practically: Thanks to the combination of theoretical and practical phases, incoming software engineers are well prepared. Software Engineers combine the best of two worlds: You have more BWL knowledge than classic application developers and more IT skills than classic BWL graduates.

Theory:

Methods of Business Informatics Programming (including algorithms and data structures, web programming and distributed systems) Basics of Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Financing, Accounting and Law Project management Basics, methods and tools of software engineering (modern programming concepts and software architectures) Development of IT infrastructures

Practice:

knowledge of operational processes and structures IT project management and consulting Accompanying customer appointments on site Participation in the further development of our software Takeover of own projects

General (special)higher education with good degree Good services in scientific and business subjects as well as in German and English Interest in modern information and communication technology High performance and independent working style Embossed communication and contact capability Loadability and team capability Good MS Office knowledge and ideally first experience in information technology and business management
