You are responsible for the safety-relevant analysis of network communication, log data, software behavior and configurations and derive risk-minimizing protection and countermeasures from this. Based on relevant IT security vulnerabilities, you can also identify vulnerability scans, as well as possible attack patterns, you can create reviews and recommendations for action. In case of safety incidents, you will coordinate security measures and necessary coordination with the customers. In addition, you implement information security projects and support the introduction of security technologies, in particular in the areas of security analysis, security response and vulnerability management.

You have completed relevant higher education in computer science, information security or a comparable course of study or you have comparable knowledge. You have deep knowledge and experience of attack techniques and in the analysis of networking communication and software behavior, as well as experience in handling different log formats of various IT components and systems. You have knowledge of tools for correlated evaluation of large amounts of data, such as Elasticsearch / Stack, Kibana, Grafana, Splunk. You have deeper knowledge of IT system architectures in the field of hardware, operating systems, networks and specialist applications. You bring analytical thinking power that enables you to penetrate problems quickly, develop independent solutions and work into complex topics. Very good knowledge of German in word and writing (at least Telc C1 levelau or TestDaf TDN4 or DSH2) and a good understanding of German- and English-language texts and sources in the focus of information security and cyber defence, collaborative ability, holistic thinking and outcome-oriented action round off your profile.
