Social pedagogical specialist for inpatient mother-child facility (m/f/d)

The CARITAS JUGENDHILFE MARBURG, In the bathing room 39, 35039 Marburg is looking for a reliable pedagogical specialist for the mother-child facility with 30 hours a week to 01.08.2026 or later. Tasks: Up to eight pregnant women and young mothers with their babies and toddlers live in the mother-child institution. Through targeted pedagogical-psychological care in the context of stationary aid according to § 19 SGB VIII, the mothers are to be able to obtain competences for an independent life with their child after the excerpt. During the service, the following areas include tasks:

• Päd. Support for young women in the care and education of children
• advice and guidance in everyday design
• Accompaniment to doctor's visits, authorities etc.

• Participation in hand-over calls and help-plan calls, as well as the writing of corresponding reports and documentation

Compulsory conditions:

• completed studies of social education/social work, state recognition as an educator or comparable degree,
• readiness for shift and weekend services (night services are mostly covered by night workers);
• Car driver's license
• Reliability, team capacity, resilience, flexibility, independent and responsible pedagogical action, communication skills, reflection and critique, empathy.
• Identification with the aims, tasks and values of the Catholic Church and the associated Caritas.
• We wish: professional experience in working with infants, infants and young adults; joy and commitment regarding conceptual development; intercultural knowledge and multilingualism; Basic computer knowledge (Windows / Word / Excel).
