When we look into the future, the finance sector is facing great challenges for which it has to face. Digitalization and automation are becoming increasingly important: Excel tables and paper reports are increasingly replaced by BI solutions and data analytics.

Our Sindelfingen site is one of the most traditional works of Mercedes-Benz AG and looks back on over a hundred years of history. This is not only produced, but also researched and developed. We manufacture vehicle models of the top and luxury class, including the S-Class, S-Class Maybach and the fully electric EQS. Other models such as the Mercedes-Benz E-Class and the GLC are also produced here. The location offers a wide range of modern drive technologies with classic internal combustion engines, plug-in hybrids and electric vehicles. Electric vehicles of the EQ brand run flexibly from the same band as vehicles with conventional drives.

In everything we do – every decision we make, whether as a financial expert or in other positions – we always keep the cash flow in mind and act like a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This mindset is also part of our “We are CFO” initiative.

Our FPR/FC division is the business partner of the BBAC Joint Venture in Beijing/China. In our team we attach great importance to cooperation. We work with passion for each other and maintain open, direct communication at eye level. We learn from each other, we support each other and we are constructive and honest. With us you take responsibility for diverse and exciting tasks with great influence on our entire environment. We work in a hybrid working model that gives you the flexibility to work both at the Sindelfingen site and at home office.

As part of your 6-month internship, you will get a comprehensive insight into the business management and consulting of the CARS division with focus on China. We understand ourselves as a service-oriented contact person for the specialist departments and independently engage topics to win the business partner through communication and persuasive power for a common course. You will be involved in the work with our joint venture partner BBAC and support us in various projects.

Your tasks include: Support for budget planning for the China project Interdisciplinary coordination with relevant business partners (specialized departments in China and Germany) Working on topics related to our joint venture partner BBAC Support for third-party operations Extensive data analysis in different tools, including SAP Creation and preparation of decision-relevant documents for management Analysis of results and derivation of control impulses for operations and finance management Preparation of Presentations for Operations and Finance Management

The activity can begin from February 2026.
