Engineer for road equipment and traffic engineering (m/f/d)

In this position, you are responsible for the planning and implementation of road equipment measures. You bring your expertise into diverse projects and actively contribute to the safe transport infrastructure in Hesse. You work independently and at the same time in close cooperation with a dedicated team. This means in detail: You take over the planning, tendering, awarding and implementation of road equipment measures with a focus on traffic sign bridges, directions and signs To do this, you create performance directories and you are responsible for the processing and settlement of construction and engineering contracts Your area of responsibility also includes the organisation and control of deficiencies on the basis of construction tests according to DIN 1076 at traffic sign bridges in Hesse In addition, you will support the tendering and implementation of network and traffic control systems (NBA/VBA) You represent the interests of Hessen Mobil to external partners such as municipalities, traffic authorities and the police and coordinate internal and external voting processes

You have completed university studies (FH-Diplom/Bachelor) in the field of transport engineering, civil engineering, mobility management or a comparable qualification Ideally, you are already bringing with you specialist knowledge of transport technology, which you like to have collected in the context of internships or student work activities. Knowledge of relevant guidelines and standards in the field of road equipment is advantageous In addition, you can safely handle the current MS Office applications. You have good oral and written expressability in the German language (comparable level C1 CEFR) You own the class B licence
