Number: MER0003TK5 The employees of the Mercedes-Benz plant Hamburg develop, plan and produce in the five core fields: axles and axle components, steering columns, electric drives as well as components of exhaust gas technology and lightweight structural parts. Future-oriented technologies such as modern assembly techniques as well as the combination of internal high-pressure forming and plastic injection moulding have been further developed at the production site. Your field of application lies in the field of project management in the development of steering systems. As part of your activity, you will have the opportunity to get to know adjacent areas and interfaces. The product field steering column is very wide and global. This is how you are involved in various production phases. For example, you also participate in the new development of innovative product and production concepts in the series start. Localization projects at worldwide locations are supervised out of the Hamburg plant and can be assisted. These challenges include: Cooperation with the project management and/or the developers Support and support of technical product and process developments Participation in calculations and cost assessments Application of project management tools for appointment, budget tracking and fulfillment of other project objectives Participation in value analysis and design discussions with customers and suppliers Cost tracking, business presentations, reporting, visualizations etc. Support and participation in the supply phases Implementation of process optimizations in ongoing series The activity can begin from February 2026.
