♪ This is your new job:

Your new workplace is a family-integral group in a rural district of Homberg (Ohm). Four girls and a boy live in a large house with a large garden, which are accompanied in the long term within the framework of assistance for education under Sections 34 and 35 of the SGB VIII.

The team includes an experienced indwelling main supervisor as well as another specialist. Now we are looking for you as a reinforcement – professionally competent, humanly appropriate and with pleasure in long-term relationship work. Several pets are also part of everyday life.

♪ These are your tasks as a social education specialist (d/m/w) in a family-integrative housing group:

• Care and assistance of five children aged six to seventeen years in close coordination and supplementing with the main inhabitant
• everyday design, leisure design, problem and crisis management, fun and joy
• Administrative shares, reports, HPG participation, team meeting and supervision participation

• You are an educator, social education, medical education, or have completed another relevant training or study
• You are empathic and promote each client's individual, regardless of background and needs
• You are safe in communication, both in dealing with the attendees and in cooperation with colleagues
• You are flexible in a dynamic working environment, paired with the ability to self-reflection and constructive feedback
• As an exceptional team player you see where your help is needed and keeps a cool head even in difficult situations
• You can see the benefits in the shift service (including weekend services and night readiness in the group) and design the schedule together with your team
• You have a class B licence
• You bring your creative, sporting and musical talents to the care of children and young people
• You have organizational skills and fun to implement them in the management of the family (organization of everyday life, planning travel, everyday practice activities such as shopping, cooking etc.)
• You can react flexibly to unforeseen and master tasks with humour and enforcement
• You are ready and able to engage in long-term relationships with the children and young people to be cared for
• You are not an animal hair allergy and no fear of animals
