Number: MER0003UTE As an RD/EBE (Electronics/Electronics System & Hardware) we deliver technologically leading EE systems with premium series quality into Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Our RD/EBE department is responsible for the development of electric/electronic volumes and the system design of the Mercedes-Benz HV batteries. These challenges come to you: Cooperation in the field of high-voltage battery development (EE System & Hardware) with focus EMV/U (electromagnetic environmental compatibility)
Development of an FEM model of different cell formats
Construction of an EMC/U simulation model in the FEM tool CST (2D/3D)
Validation of simulation results using measurement data and optimization of calculation methodology
Analysis and comparison of EMC behavior of different cell architectures
The final topics will be discussed with the university, you and us. The activity can begin from February 2026.
Degree course in the field of electrical/communication/frequency technology or a comparable qualification
Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
Finded theoretical knowledge in the field of electromagnetic fields and waves
Advanced knowledge in EMC fair design as well as understanding of shield and coupling damping and in the field of high-frequency technology measurement technology are an advantage
Simulation experience with simulation tools such as CST Studio, ANSYS, LTSpice or comparable programs
Analytical thinking and problem-solving competencies, combined with the development of solutions and their effective implementation
Communication joy as well as team skills combined with a systematic and targeted approach
