Since 2008, the company has been driving the energy transition worldwide with innovative solutions. The teams in the UK, Europe, the USA and Australia accompany the entire project development process – from planning to construction and connection to operation. To strengthen the team in Hamburg we are looking for a senior project developer:in BESS (m/w/d). Your role: As a senior project developer, you take responsibility for the successful development of our battery storage projects – from land security to ready-to-build phase. You are at the heart of the coordination of approval processes, control internal and external stakeholders and ensure that all technical, economic and regulatory requirements are met. With your strategic and organizational skills, you can efficiently and effectively lead the projects to success. Identification and acquisition of suitable locations for battery energy storage systems (BESS) in Germany and possibly Europe Construction and installation of a network of land owners, municipalities, authorities and project partners Control of early project development phases up to the “Ready-to-Build” maturity Coordination of approval procedures, network connection requests and environmental checks EEG, EnWG, etc.) Cooperation with internal teams of technology, financing and law

Complete studies in economic engineering, energy management, environmental planning or a comparable area Experience in the project development of renewable energy projects, ideally in the field of storage or photovoltaic/wind Strong communicative skills and negotiation security with municipalities, authorities and property owners Knowledge of regulatory requirements and approval procedures in Germany Self-employed, entrepreneurial and high readiness to travel German in native language or C1 level, English flow
