Working hours: Monday – Friday 8-16am/9-17pm
Tasks: leadership of the team to ensure high animal welfare standards, complete compliance with regulatory requirements and efficient workflows. Creation of complete ethic applications for approval pursuant to §8 TierSchG (including all necessary documents such as non-technical summaries for animal experiments). Drafting of amendments and reports in accordance with the regulatory requirements for authorisations already granted. Technical communication with the competent authorities as part of the approval process. Close cooperation with internal departments, in particular study managers, Scientific Proposal Managers, veterinarians, animal welfare officers, animal welfare committees, animal welfare committees and animal testing personnel. Regular communication with clients to collect relevant information for the approval process and to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
Detailed knowledge of the German animal welfare law (TischSchG) and the animal welfare regulation for experimental animals (TierSchVersV) Master's degree in natural sciences or comparable professional experience Knowledge of the drug development process, in particular the preclinical phase
