We, the university town of Marburg, are looking for the next possible appointment as a pedagogical specialist for the full-day and care offer of the Sophie-von-Brabant-Schule in our full-day and school support service.

The part-time office with a total of 28.5 hours of work – of which 24 hours are permanently occupied for the duration of one year and 4.5 hours until 31.07.2025 – is to be occupied within the framework of a parental leave for a period of one year.

Depending on the qualification and fulfilment of the tariff conditions, the grouping is grouped up to the remuneration group S 8 b of the public service collective agreement.

Your profile

• a professional qualification of pedagogical specialists according to the specialist catalogue of § 25b HKJGB (e.g. educators, social teachers, childhood teachers, etc.) or as teachers primary school teachers with 1st state exams, teachers with 1st state exams, adventure teachers
• You are also entitled to apply if you will soon complete your training in the above professions.

Your tasks

• Accompanying primary school children from the 1st to 4th year at lunchtime
• Child care during homework/learning times, corresponding offers and outdoors game
• great interest in the conceptual further development of the full-day and care offer
• Openness to innovative pedagogical impulses of specialist publicity
• Working together in a multi-professional team - in close cooperation with parents and outpatient advisory services
• Accompaniment of the holiday care in an amount of 4 weeks (every 1 week Easter and autumn holidays, 2 weeks summer holidays) during the hessian school holidays, all day in the amount of approx. 8 hours worked

Their activities include the care of primary school children from 1 to 4 years of age at the generally applicable school days. It is therefore essential to take a holiday in the school holidays. The lesson-free period exceeding the entitlement to leave is pre- or post-worked by the conversion of working time, which results in a correspondingly increased weekly working time during school hours. Working hours are usually to be completed between 11:00 and 17.00, with the exception of team meetings or other meetings.

Full day care in primary schools is a workplace with the future and offers you the opportunity to work in a multi-professional team. They have the opportunity to contribute to the further development and design of a full-time school practically through offers and conceptually in the form of concept proposals.

The Sophie-von-Brabant School is a primary school in which the pedagogical staff works connected to the teaching staff. The accompaniment of lunch and the learning times are provided in tandem with primary school teachers. The following offers are numerous and include creative, sporty or cultural offers. The introduction of your personal skills and interests is important to us.

As a specialist service full-time and school care, we would like to accompany and support you and not only look at children as independent personalities with individual strengths, but also our employees. For your accompaniment and advice, 5 specialist consultants are therefore available.

The full day and school care department employs approx. 170 employees (including domestic workers, FSJ & interns) at 13 primary school locations and supervises between 15 and over 200 children at different locations. We accompany primary schools on the way to full-time school and offer reliable educational support for primary school children.
