As a specialist in financial statistics (m/w/d), you are responsible for data collection and processing and are working on the production of important policy bases for (politic) responsible persons. Through your activity, you contribute to the availability of many quality-assured data on public finances for statistical evaluations. Your area: Public finance and personnel The task shall include the preparation of official statistics on the basis of the Financial and Personnel Statistics Act. These include, in particular, debt statistics (in cooperation with the municipalities) and annual accounts statistics (with public institutions and enterprises as respondents). Together with your team, you are responsible for the data collection and processing of a total of four statistics.

Your main activity: You carry out the data collection and processing of official data. You monitor, control and control the processes of the collection process. You advise our respondents by phone and in writing. You create work instructions and guide the staff employed. You design and conduct process optimization and quality assurance measures. You work in nationwide bodies of the Federal Statistical Offices and the Länder.

Your task also includes: You develop and update their own evaluations for testing purposes e.g. by R or SAS.

You bring with them: Graduate degree in economics, statistics or a comparable completed study with proven statistical reference (e.g. data science, mathematics, computer science or agricultural science) Confidence in the application of statistical methods and procedures, in particular in data collection and processing Good knowledge of commercial accounting and financial statements Know-how in the application of statistics software (preferably R and/or SAS) and in the use of MS Office products Secure German (in Word and Writing) Also desirable are: Ability to easily explain and document complex statistical facts Experience in communication with e.g. customers or respondents Experience in leadership of a team Your personality: Team spirit, open to dealing with changes Structured working and high quality awareness Service orientation
