Number: MER0003TIS The gear development at Mercedes-Benz focuses on reducing CO2 emissions coupled with increased performance and comfort. Our 'Team hydraulic gear control' is part of the gear development in the drivetrain & electric drive center, which is responsible for the electrohydraulic control of the automatic, double clutch transmission and electric drive trains (eATS). We are concerned with the design and design of electrohydraulic control systems and use all common development methods, including simulation and testing on their own test benches and the test benches of associated development partners. Together with the software-side functional development, we develop and evaluate the customer suitability in the vehicle on the basis of the present results. In addition, we are responsible for the analysis and elimination of problems in the field and in new approaches. In order to develop robust control units, it is essential to check each unit for compliance with the limit values. We use automated test procedures and evaluations for this purpose. As part of your internship, the following sub-tasks are created: Knowing the basic functions of an automatic transmission / double clutch transmission / eATS

Introduction to the existing test sequences and evaluations

Revision of evaluations in coordination with test engineers

Programming of automated evaluations of vehicle and test bench

Documentation and presentation of studies and analyses

The activity can begin from March 2026.

Study programme in the field of mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, vehicle technology or a comparable degree programme

Previous knowledge of programming languages, ideally VBS: Experience in creating and managing scripts for automated evaluation of measurement data

German and English knowledge in word and writing

Driving licence class B required
