Head of Finance and Accounting (m/f/d)

As Head of Division, you assume the technical and process responsibility for your area in financial and accounting. You provide a resilient financial infrastructure – technically clear, humanly valued and with the right to a modernly thought-out financial and accounting that focuses on the financing needs of the energy transition. It will be important to take your employees along the way!

What is there to do? – The task: Creation and technical control of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts according to HGB Responsibility for daily accounting: debitors, creditors, asset and main book; Payment management Introduction of digital processes – participation in strategy, digitalization and transformation Further development of operational purchasing towards strategic and operational purchasing Further development of employees:inside – to significantly more automation and digitalization responsibility for ensuring and maintaining regulatory requirements in the energy sector; Monitoring regulatory procedures Further setup of the controlling Creation of forecasts, economic planning and KPI-based control instruments Implementation of business cases, investment assessments and decision analysis Further development of effective risk and reporting Development of cash management and predictive medium-term liquidity planning and financing and capital activities Active hand-on mentality through active participation: You sit with your people – all in a hallway. You in the middle! Close cooperation with the management in relevant specialist areas to implement the corporate strategy Participation in cross-departmental projects, in particular the partially responsible management of migration to the new ERP system SAP S/4HANA Ensuring reliable interface management to adjacent departments (e.g. technology, market, sales and other shared service units)

Completioned commercial training with additional qualification as a balance sheet holder:in or comparable qualification Alternatively: Business studies with focus on accounting / taxes / finance Multiannual professional experience in financial accounting Funded knowledge in the HGB and dealing with basic tax issues Safe handling of ERP systems and good MS Office skills Experience in leadership - liked in change processes
