Embedded Software Developer (m/f/d)

The task

The following tasks are part of your task:

• Creation of hardware-related firmware for our card readers, ticket stations, switches and future devices in the programming language C
• independent planning, implementation and documentation of software projects
• Developing a test software with Windows, Linux C++ and Qt
• Development of unit and regression tests to ensure software quality
• Creating realisation concepts for new equipment in cooperation with mechanics and hardware development
• Application of a version management system (subversion, GIT)
• Customer support and support during commissioning and operation

Requirements

You have a degree in Computer Science, Electronics or a comparable degree course as well as several years of professional experience in the development of embedded software

You will also bring the following properties:

• Funded knowledge of the underlying hardware, such as Microcontroller Cortex series, driver modules, engine controllers, RFID modules, displays and the like
• Knowledge of interface protocols I2C, SPI, RS232, USB, OneWire etc.
• Knowledge of methods such as Unit and Regression Tests, Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration
• Self-employed and self-employed
• Experience in cooperation with an international team
• Knowledge of how to use an ERP system as well as Tex knowledge desirable
