Agent development in the backend: You develop and expand scalable microservices – supported by AI agents and modern coding assistants, which you control specifically and whose results you validate. Responsible for architecture & quality: You meet architecture decisions, define interfaces and ensure that generated and handwritten code meets our quality standards (Clean Code, Performance, Wartability). Prompt and context engineering: You create effective workflows with AI tools, build reusable prompts, skills and context structures and continuously develop our agentic development processes. Code Review for Human & Machine: You critically check AI-generated code for correctness, security, edge cases and architectural fit – and establish review standards in the team. Test Driven Development: You plan, implement and automate test scenarios (TDD) and use tests specifically as a guide for agentic workflows. Error analysis & debugging: You diagnose complex problems in distributed systems and sustainably correct them. Documentation & Knowledge Building: You document code, architecture and agentic workflows so that both colleagues and AI systems can work productively with it. Continuous improvement: You actively drive our development processes, tooling landscape and technical basis.

Backend expertise Multiannual, well-founded experience in backend development with Node.js and TypeScript Experience with Fastify or comparable HTTP frameworks Safe handling of TypeORM as ORM Experience with Dependency Injection, ideally Awilix Practice in test-driven development (TDD), preferably with tap Multiannual experience in scalable backend services within a microservice architecture Safe handling of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) Deep understanding of clean code and software design principles Agentic Engineering Experience in the productive use of AI-supported development tools (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub copilot or comparable agents) Ability to critically check, validate and target AI-generated code correct – instead of trusting him blindly Understanding Prompt and Context Engineering: You know how you do tasks structure that agents deliver reliably experience with the development of agentic workflows, e.g. by MCP servers and Tool integrations Sovereign dealing with uncertainty: You realize when an agent hallucinates, a using outdated API or making a bad architectural decision readiness to keep pace with the rapid development in the AI environment and best Establishing practices in the team Personal Very good knowledge of German in word and writing (mother language or bilingual) Willing to come to the office 2x per week Excellent quality awareness, sense of responsibility and team spirit Confidence with agile and classic development methods
