Number: MER0003U8A You will complete your internship in the field of passive safety at the Mercedes-Benz Development Centre in Sindelfingen in the Department of Accident Research, Safety Sensors and Systems, Security Strategy, Concepts and Requirements. The team ''strategy and innovations Integrale Security'' designs and investigates innovative safety concepts and components for future Mercedes-Benz cars and develops them to market launch. During the internship in our team ''strategy and innovation get Integrale Security'' You provide concrete insight into current development activities of current innovations and support the team in ongoing development tasks. This is done in close cooperation with other teams and departments in the field of vehicle safety (Crash), vehicle interior and design. Creation of concept patterns for first presentations and tests

Conception of new testing options for examining new interior concepts and testing of new adapted passenger protection systems

Procurement and coordination of test patterns

Preparation, monitoring and evaluation of internal and external development experiments

Support in the coordination and evaluation of standard-accompanying airbag tests

Preparation of presentation documents

Participation in innovation workshops

Supporting innovation developments with suppliers and development service providers

Implementation of benchmark analyses

Support in processes for innovation management incl. Selection and awarding of the annual Innovation Award in the field

Support for strategy work in the framework of sustainable business strategy ''Traffic Safety''
