Performs a range of complex administrative and technical engineering support tasks, often requiring significant interpretation and adjustments to standard procedures. May oversee the daily operations of the job area, ensuring continuity and optimal performance and providing technical leadership within the department. Tasks include designing 3-dimensional models and prototypes, producing complex drawings, assisting in tender proposal submissions, producing documentation for product compliance and defining product specifications. Also responsible for quality assurance activities and dealing with customer complaints. Communicates effectively with internal and external contacts and collaborates across departments, fostering engagement and providing the necessary support to ensure smooth engineering operations. Addresses and resolves problems by leveraging knowledge and experience within the field, applying insights gained by experience to find effective solutions.
