Marketing Activation Lead

Dometic is a global market leader in the mobile living industry. Millions of people around the world use Dometic products in outdoor, residential, and professional applications. We are on a growth journey – now looking for a Marketing Activation Lead for supporting Germany.
The Marketing Activation Lead leads the local implementation of centrally developed marketing initiatives with a strong focus on enabling commercial success. A key responsibility is to ensure that the sales team is equipped with relevant, localized product materials, campaign assets, and sales tools that align with both central strategy and local market needs. The role also drives the collection and communication of local consumer and customer insights, as well as competitor monitoring, to inform both sales and marketing decisions. In addition, the Marketing Activation Specialist manages local trade shows, events, media relations, and campaign adaptations, ensuring consistent brand execution and strong local market relevance.
Your main responsibilities
- Adapt and implement centrally developed campaigns to ensure they are relevant and effective in the local market.
- Coordinate with central marketing teams to secure assets, clarify messaging, and provide local market feedback.
- Plan, organize, and manage participation in local trade shows, exhibitions, customer events, and other on-ground activations.
- Ensure alignment with the brand's strategic objectives and central marketing themes.
- Manage local media relations, including maintaining press contacts, handling press releases, and ensuring timely translations and localization of centrally developed content.
- Support the local sales team by providing localized product information, promotional materials, and campaign tools.
- Collaborate on the development of customer presentations, sales kits, and product training sessions.
- Gather and share local consumer insights, customer feedback, and market trends with relevant central and local stakeholders.
- Monitor competitor activities within the local market and provide structured reporting.
- Serve as the liaison between the central marketing team and local departments (sales, customer service, etc.) to ensure cohesive execution and information flow.
- Ensure timely reporting and documentation of local marketing activities and outcomes.
